Caring for your Shiloh

To lift a small mark or a dry stain, work gently with an eraser made for suede. A suede brush will then raise the nap again.

If needed, a protective or waterproofing spray made for suede will extend its life. Always test the product on a discreet area before treating the whole boot.

Keep creams and rich products for leather: on suede they change both colour and appearance.

Start by removing dust with a soft dry cloth.

Then apply a small amount of cream made for leather, to feed it and keep it supple. Let it sink in for a few minutes, then polish gently with a clean cloth.

Avoid prolonged exposure to water and to direct heat.

If your boots get wet, let them dry naturally at room temperature — away from a radiator, which would harden the leather.

Less often than you would think. A little product, applied with care, is always better than frequent treatment.
